Our second circle carried a deeper meaning. Each participant received a butterfly wing outline to color freely filling it with softness, joy, and calm. On the other hand, they glued delicate flowers to bring the wing to life.
The activity wasn’t easy – cutting and gluing flowers took patience and effort. But that was exactly the point. Just like in life; after going through challenges and difficult times, we emerge with something truly beautiful. The final wings became symbols of resilience, transformation, and hope – reminding us of that growth always follows struggle.
Why Flutter & Bloom for Colombo?
Life in Colombo can feel like a constant rush – surrounded by cement buildings, busy schedules, and endless to-do lists. Many people forget to pause, some even give up on their dreams, while others struggle to find a space in the city where they can truly relax. That’s why we brought Flutter & Bloom Circle to Colombo.
The activity itself – coloring one wing and patiently cutting and gluing flowers onto the other – wasn’t easy. It mirrored the reality of living in a fast-paced city: the struggles, the effort, and the exhaustion. But in the end, each person created a beautiful butterfly, vibrant with color and alive with flowers.
This became our message to Colombo – that even after busy routines, stress, and challenges, something beautiful can emerge. With a little pause, creativity, and connection, we can bloom even in the middle of the city.
